Our story

s a young girl, I have always had a passion for baking and cooking. When I was 14 years old, freshman in high school, I applied to LeCordon Bleu in Phoenix, Arizona, and of course was declined acceptance, so I gave that dream up.

Year later, I attended community college for three years pursuing a degree in Psychology, and then Dietetics, and I was never happy. In the beginning of the 2023 year, I decided I was going to take a leap of faith, and just go to culinary school, despite the cost, and the fear of failure. I started April 4, 2023, and who knew this would be the beginning of the rest of my life.

During my culinary experience, I would tell the chefs and culinary commis (culinary students), that my ultimate dream would be to open a soup truck and sell soup and bread from my food truck, if I ever was to become successful enough.

During school, I went to stage at the Alinea restaurant in Chicago, IL for an internship position at the 3 Michelin star restaurant. This was the hardest accomplishment I have ever completed. Both days of my 12 hour stage I was ready to throw in the towel and quit, but I did not quit. During this experience, I came to realize I did not want to work in a restaurant, creating someone else’s inspiration and creativity, but I wanted to create my own, and be my own boss.

So I decided that why should I wait to start my dream, when I am ready now! So here we are taking a leap of faith to start a soup truck. Follow along with the journey, and eat some good fresh baked sourdough and soup.
